Early morning stroll on 9th avenue

possibly the only advantage of being constantly jet-lagged is that you get so bored of lying in bed with a pounding headache and unable to read or do anything else that could vaguely require the use of your brain that you jump at the chance of going for a walk very early in the morning. so that's what I did... left my insanely cheesy hotel at around 7 to wander around the almost deserted streets of an extremely big apple that had just woken up to a pleasant autumn morning. this is what the corner of 9th avenue and 30somethingth street looked like on that beautiful morning of November 5, day of the marathon.
